How close can you get
to the Vegas line?
Every week Jeff guesses the point spread for every game. Not which side to take — the number itself. Your score is how far off you were, added up. Lower is better.
How the scoring works
- Guess the spread
- The line is hidden until you submit. Once you do, we snapshot the real number and show you how close you were.
- Your score is the gap
- Guess −10 when the line is −13.5 and you score 3.5. Guess 7 when it is 10.5 and you also score 3.5. Direction does not matter, distance does.
- Picks lock at kickoff
- Each game individually, so the Thursday night game closing does not stop you picking Sunday.
- Jeff versus Vegas
- Once a game is final, whoever's line landed closer to the actual result takes it. That one is settled by the scoreboard, not by opinion.
